The Fiji Global CFaH team is back in the field, carrying out a follow‑up study to understand how recent community‑led food and nutrition initiatives are shaping household diets, food security, and nutrition in Fiji.
Building on the 2024 baseline assessment, the team is now exploring whether interventions such as home‑garden training, food‑processing workshops, and the distribution of seeds and seedlings have begun to influence dietary choices and the use of locally produced foods. Early insights suggest that agroecological practices remain new across many communities, but the research aims to shed light on how these approaches can support healthier, more resilient food systems.
