Strengthening research capacity to address complex health systems and food systems challenges in low and middle income countries (LMICs)

Members of the Global CFaH are currently taking part in an eight-month training and career development programme on systems thinking and modelling. This exciting initiative is delivered in collaboration with the COmmunity HEalth Systems Innovation Project (COHESION-I), supported by the NIHR Global Health Research Cohort Academic Development Award (GHR CADA) scheme.

The GHR CADA scheme is designed to support research programme cohorts, primarily those based in low and middle-income countries (LMICs), in building the skills and experience needed for successful academic careers in global health.

Our training journey includes online learning modules and guided workshops, and hybrid writing retreats. All culminating in an online conference in February 2026.

Our collaborators and friends on the COHESION-I Project – working across India, Mozambique, Nepal, and Peru - have been busy. Be sure to check out their latest Newsletter and systems thinking training Blog
